Some time near the end of September, my colleague, Stephen, passed away from Acute Myeloid Leukemia. I started working with him in July, so it wasn’t really a long working relationship. But please allow me to post this despite that.
Have you ever encountered someone in your life that for some reason, never or rarely feels pessimistic about life? That somehow, despite the situation, manages to flash a smile and think about the positive side of things and carry on? This is for the 30-day writing challenge I’m currently doing.
The whole experience was fun, but to be honest, it’s not something I want to do again, unless with really great company like these people.
You can use it to your advantage and take it as a lesson for better future decisions or take it as a trigger for self-doubt and low esteem. And in the end, the outcome will only depend on how you react to it.
